HUNTINGTON STATION, N.Y. (PRWEB) FEBRUARY 16, 2018. The United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) will be sending Director of Operations, Ms. Beth Reichart to the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics XXIII in support of Team UBCF’s Brand Ambassador. UBCF’s trip to the Winter Olympics will continue to promote the “SHUTOUT Breast Cancer” Campaign featured in the recently released 2018 USA TODAY Winter Olympics Preview Special Edition and the 2018 Official NHL All-Star Commemorative Souvenir Game Program.
There are 92 nations from around the globe competing at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics XXIII in 102 events in 7 sports and 15 disciplines. The Olympic Games began on February 9th and will conclude on February 25th. There are two “Clusters” for the Winter games – the PyeongChang Mountain Cluster hosting snow and sliding sports and the Gangneung Coastal Cluster hosting ice sports. PyeongChang is known as the Alps of Korea, located at 700 metres above sea level, hence the “Happy 700” tag-line for the Games.
UBCF will bring the Great American Spirit to the Final Two Women’s Ice Hockey medal round games, held at the Kwandong Hockey Centre in Gangneung on Wednesday, February 21st and Thursday February 22nd.
UBCF Director of Operations, Ms. Beth Reichart had this to say, “UBCF’s ‘SHUTOUT Breast Cancer’ campaign is going Global! Representing the United Breast Cancer Foundation at the Winter Olympics is a once in a life-time opportunity. I’m looking forward to bringing UBCF and the American Spirit to South Korea. We want all participating athletes and the entire USA Woman’s Hockey Team to know that UBCF has their backs! Go Team USA!”
