Our model of support is unique in that we serve as a conduit for a variety of support at all stages, from prevention and education through diagnosis, recovery and beyond. I always share how UBCF services women, man and their families more than one time in their lifetime and in more than one program at a time. The Barclays Center is a phenomenal platform for UBCF to showcase our special abilities to service the public, and highlight an alternative approach on the topic and the management of breast health and breast cancer.”
Breast Cancer impacts us all: 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime and this year, an estimated 2,670 men will be diagnosed with the disease. Early detection saves lives. UBCF encourages women and men to learn the self-breast exam and recognize any changes. Those in need of a breast screening can find assistance through UBCF’s Breast Screening Program – available to women and men of any age. The program covers all screening technologies including mammography, ultrasound, thermography and MRI.
