Hair loss due to chemotherapy is not just a physical change—it can be one of the most emotionally challenging aspects of treatment. A study by Hesketh et al showed that chemotherapy-induced hair loss (alopecia) can lead to anxiety, depression, negative body image, and reduced self-esteem, significantly affecting a patient’s quality of life. According to the Mayo Clinic, many patients don’t anticipate just how deeply hair loss impacts their identity and emotional well-being. Nadula’s donation helps restore a sense of confidence and normalcy to patients during a challenging time.
