UBCF is adjusting our service model to meet the needs of clients during COVID
After an overwhelmingly positive response to the UBCF COVID Emergency Assistance Program, United Breast Cancer Foundation has launched an expanded program to fulfill more requests for assistance; introducing the UBCF COVID Grant Program!
COVID continues to impact communities across the US. In response, UBCF has adapted our service model to better meet the immediate needs of those affected by breast cancer during this time. UBCF is focusing our efforts on COVID Grants, allowing us to increase the number of patients and survivors serviced in a shorter amount of time. Regardless of this adjustment, our mission remains to provide service to all, regardless of age, race, gender or income.
UBCF’s COVID Grants include an online Gift Card and access to additional online services. These grants are available to both men and women currently undergoing breast cancer treatment or within 10 years of remission. We encourage all who qualify to apply. Even if you have received an Individual Grant or support through UBCF’s original COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Program ($100.00 Amazon Gift Card and other goodies), you can still apply for the new COVID Grant Program.
If you have received assistance through two or more grant programs; (Individual Grant, Holistic Care Grant, Child Sponsorship Grant, Breast Reconstruction Grant, and Audrey B. Mastroianni College Scholarship), you are not eligible to apply for the COVID Grant Program at this time. We encourage those not eligible to re-apply to the program of their choice 12 months from the award date.
If you have already submitted a completed application for an Individual Grant, Holistic Care Grant, Child Sponsorship Grant, Breast Reconstruction Grant, and / or the Audrey B. Mastroianni College Scholarship, it will be processed in the order that it was received.
