United Breast Cancer Foundation is excited to announce that we are once again teaming up with Good360 and Tempur Sealy International to host the highly anticipated “Gift of Sleep” Mattress Donation and Pink Bag Event in Louisville, Kentucky this summer. UBCF will gift beautiful, restorative Tempur-Pedic® mattresses and other wonderful goodies to breast cancer patients and survivors at no cost.
Fellow breast cancer organization, Twisted Pink, is helping spread the word, and Brookfield Properties is donating the space to make this event possible. As always, UBCF is grateful for our collaboration with these organizations – we all know it takes a village, and together we are doing great things for the breast cancer community.
Since 2012, UBCF has provided therapeutic mattresses to thousands of people to aid in better sleep. “Helping patients and survivors gain a better nights’ sleep is deeply important to the healing process and we’re honored to help facilitate,” says Ms. Stephanie Mastroianni, Executive Director of UBCF.
This summer, UBCF will gift queen and twin XL-size Tempur-Pedic® mattresses to breast cancer patients and survivors in Louisville, Kentucky. Children 18 or younger living at home with the applicant may qualify for items if they are available. People are welcome to apply from anywhere in the United States, however, approved applicants are responsible for picking up items on the day of the event. Items will not be held or shipped.
