United Breast Cancer Foundation Selected as Charity of Choice for Indianapolis 500
Announcements throughout the race event will help increase breast cancer awareness and the available support for males and females affected by breast cancer.
UBCF will debut a new PSA at the Indianapolis 500 weekend, this May 27-29, 2016. The Indianapolis 500 is known as “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing”! The PSA will help raise awareness about male and female breast cancer and inform those in need that support and assistance is available through the UBCF programs.
UBCF is thrilled and honored to be a part of this event for the second year in a row, spreading our mission and goals to an estimated 300,000 people in attendance (and that’s just on race day, 5/29/16!!). The new PSA will air twice per hour over the 3 day event on the Jumbo-tron. As you attend or tune-in to watch the INDY 500, be sure to keep your eye out for UBCFs PSA! During the event, UBCF representatives will be interviewing spectators, passing out information and letting folks know that our seven life-supporting programs are available to women, men & families across the country.
