Thank you so much for taking the time to visit this campaign. You are appreciated. As many of you know, it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The month of October is almost half way over (as of this writing) but it is not too late to play a significant role in helping to increase the survival rates among those diagnosed with this deadly disease. Did you know that each year in the U.S. (according to the CDC) about 264,000 women and 2,400 men receive a life changing breast cancer diagnoses. About 42,000 women and about 500 men in the U.S. each year will lose their battle. This is due to many factors. One of them is a lack of funding for treatment. The good news is survival rates are increasing, and breast cancer related deaths are on the decline. Let's continue the good fight! Consider making a contribution by donating to UBCF.
