UBCF believes that it is critical to approach breast health and breast cancer treatment from a whole-body perspective, and that of course includes the mind, body & spirit.
The United Breast Cancer Foundation understands that when a person is diagnosed with breast cancer, a great trauma is inflicted. There are so many questions to be asked and answered. There are treatment plans to be figured out and navigated. There’s a huge impact on the entire family and there is great financial burden.
In an effort to provide women and men opportunities for healing, peace and joy, UBCF has partnered with the world renowned holistic learning center, the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies. Through this unique partnership, UBCF provides scholarships to women and men currently managing breast cancer or within five years remission to attend a weekend workshop of their choice at Omega’s beautiful Rhinebeck, NY campus. These generous scholarships cover tuition, room & board.
