We are pleased to announce that United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) is once again a part of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) 2016!
What is the CFC, you ask?
CFC is the largest worldwide charity campaign that has raised millions of dollars each year. Pledges are made by Federal civilian, postal, and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st – December 15th). Campaigns are held across the nation and overseas. They support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.
UBCF is super-excited to be selected as one of 200 approved charities!
The mission of the CFC,
“… Is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.” – OPM.gov
The CFC is a great opportunity for charities and federal employees alike to come together and learn about different philanthropic options and how they can help. It is an exciting way to develop a community that is focused on giving and supporting others throughout the nation and the world.
Just like in 2015, UBCF will be a part of 2016’s CFC! Come join us! UBCF’s CFC ID is 77934!

As the Acting Director of OPM, Beth F. Cobert, stated in her letter from 2015,
“The CFC remains the largest and most successful workplace charity drive in the United States. In fact, the 2015 CFC is expected to see a significant milestone as, this year, Federal employees across the country are expected to surpass $8 billion raised since 1961, funds which have helped countless people across our country and around the world. Each year the CFC provides us with an opportunity to join together and help those in need and bring about dramatic changes in the communities that need it most.”
We agree! This is a valuable opportunity to help others within and outside of our communities.
And like Cobert said, “…All gifts –large and small — are important and make a difference. Giving to the CFC shows the compassionate values of Federal employees, the American people, and our great country.”
