Stephanie Mastroianni, Executive Director
Stephanie Mastroianni, Executive Director since 2001, has shaped UBCF into the wonderful organization that it is today due in large part to her personal experience with breast cancer. Her mother passed away from the disease at the age of 42. Each of UBCF’s seven programs have evolved from this personal experience. In 2005, under Ms. Mastroianni’s leadership, UBCF expanded to reach the national community.
Beth Reichart, Director of Operations
Beth joined UBCF in 2005 as Director of Operations. She works from the Foundation’s satellite office in Maryland, and travels extensively promoting the work of UBCF. Under her guidance, programs like the annual mattress donation events have grown in scope and size. Beth holds a BA from Skidmore College and is the mother to 3 “men in training”.
Lauren Brohm, Executive Assistant and Office Manager
Lauren began working at United Breast Cancer Foundation in 2016. She brings over 15 years of managerial experience to help organize and streamline the processes of the UBCF offices. Her amazing customer service skills and desire to give back to the community are the qualities that UBCF looks for in a successful team member.
Jamie Newberry, Program Manager
Jamie keeps our clients informed and connected through the programs offered by UBCF; spearheading financial relief through grant awards. She brings international nonprofit business development experience from her previous position at WGIRLS, and is passionate about supporting the development of community focused nonprofit organizations. She received her BA in Psychology, and an MBA with a concentration in Management and Leadership.
Neveen Khalil, Breast Screening Program Manager
Neveen is UBCF’s breast screening program manager. She leads the charge of preventative medicine by granting men and women with the financial assistance they need. She also uses her great customer service abilities to help aid in the assistance of our clientele. Neveen is a recent graduate with a BA in both Psychology and Sociology.
Kendyl Van Nostrand, Office Support
Kendyl brings 6 years of experience in fast-paced managerial and customer service roles to UBCF. She enjoys being involved in all aspects of UBCF, and her time and efforts are directed into more than one role. Her friendly demeanor, passion for helping others, and drive to assist the foundation in any area aides to the success of her expanding career at UBCF. Kendyl received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Delaware.
Alex Zuchowski, Inventory Specialist
Alex maintains the inventory at the UBCF headquarters, tracking receipt and distribution of goods for our Gift-In-Kind Program. He also helps coordinate the goods that are sent to our off-site donation events, and manages our extensive inventory tracking and reporting system. Additionally, Alex helps UBCF clients find what they need from our donated stock when they visit our Donation Center. Alex possesses a BS in Computer Science from SUNY Farmingdale.
Donation Center Staff
UBCF’s Donation Center is supported by Maricelda Cruz and Gricelda Pineda. The Donation Center Team assists breast cancer patients and survivors as they select personal care and household items from our Gift-in-Kind Program. The Donation Center Staff are the very definition of “hands-on” employees. They are responsible for picking up donations each week from our retail partners, managing inventory of donation items and most importantly, client care.
