Combined Federal CampaignUBCF has been accepted as a charitable organization in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).

CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with almost 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and overseas raising millions of dollars each year.  The CFC has rigorous standards for qualifying charities.  Thousands of charities apply nationally and internationally each year and only 300 are selected.  UBCF went through the lengthy and comprehensive application process in 2012 and was approved in May, 2013.  UBCF will be in the CFC campaigns starting September 1, 2013.  UBCF’s CFC number is 77934.

Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.  The Director of OPM has designated responsibility for the day-to-day management of the program to its CFC office.  The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

UBCF is celebrating our third successful CFC season in 2016.
