UBCF meets rigorous standards for qualifying charities to participate in CFC 2014 Campaign Season: September 1 – December 15

The United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF), a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is pleased to announce they have been approved to be part of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for the second consecutive year. CFC donors pledged thousands of dollars during the 2013 campaign season to support UBCF’s mission and programs. CFC donations are critical to ensure UBCF’s good work continues to positively impact the lives of those affected by breast cancer. UBCF participates in the CFC campaign through the Human Service Charities of America Federation. UBCF’s CFC number is 77934

UBCF was able to meet the rigorous standards for qualifying CFC charities. Thousands of charities apply each year and only a few hundred are selected. The CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with almost 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and overseas raising millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world. The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.
